Emergencies

In times of emergency, loss of electrical power can pose a serious health risk for Divernon Township residents, especially those with health problems. With that in mind, the Divernon Township Library has installed an electrical generator so that the library may be used as a place of shelter. In the event of an emergency, a sign will be placed on the front door of the library indicating that the Shelter is Open.
